NEW CLASSES start at Passim School of Music on Tuesday SEPT. 15th ...............Beginning Harmonica at 6:30pm, six tuesdays in a row, 75minutes per class. Followed closely by Continuing Harmonica at 8pm, six classes, 75 minutes each. and, a NEW CLASS, starting on THURSDAY SEPT. 17th, called 'Americana Ensemble".......which will be a 'jam' type class, for those wanting to learn that elusive art of playing along with other musicians, improvising, playing songs you don't know, not getting kicked out of the song circle, how to arrange your own songs for others to play along with, chord charts, fake it til you make it and so on...............more info at the PASSIM website here: http://www.clubpassim.com/Page.asp?n=19536&snid=210059927&org=clubpassim.com --sign up in advance, or they will not run the classes.....please. with all due respect....:-)
haven't posted in a while.......got an OUD on 5/12/09. been practicing.............. spent a fair amount of the summer trying to distinguish between the E, Eflat, and E half flat....... very awesome. thanks Mr. David Lindley.......!! Look Ma, NO FRETS!!!!
Just got added to a bill at CLUB PASSIM SUNDAY JULY 19TH with PAUL GEREMIA.............I'll be doing an opening set, / extended opening set, and hopefully we'll do a tune or two together...........
