nobody's adventures do indeed continue on this tape, which has a lot of dobro on it, along with a lot of other slidey things.
some of the songs might seem 'difficult' but certainly not 'accessible song'....if you ever want to join a bluegrass band, and need
an audition tape, well look no further, as there's one here for you, along with not one, but TWO songs dedicated to the
moment that wasn't: 'y2k'! also featured here are "superbad nightmare day", which is sort of like johnny winter meets
the Cramps with the cramps, so to speak, and "right than happy", which is sort of like a medicated tal farlow singing the
diaries of carl jung, or something......... 'hairdoos' is possibly the strangest song written on a silent meditation retreat, while
'don't label me' brings back the white gravy and cream corn crew cut crew for some of that good old fashioned gospel type
stuff we've come to know and love from nobody.....interspersed with some loving questions about love and captivity in the two
versions of "are you in love" and other little bite size mental floss chewies........
nobody's been waiting to finish this for a while....a long while.....or at least that's the way it seems...
nobody's been working hard
on things, early in the morning, in the evening.....
when nobody's looking,.......
when everyone else is doing things, and nobody is watching.........
It seems like everything is changing, and nobody seems to be the same.....but amidst the sea of change, nobody
is there for you, nobody
loves you and nobody
is perfect..........
nobody listens to these tapes, we're aware of that......and yet nobody is listening, and hoping
that somehow you
will be too, on a 78rpm
slate disc, somewhere
deep
in the backwoods hills of times square, without electricity and a bandwidth
beyond your wildest imagination.......nobody's out there........
waiting
for you.......
