Recorded in an overyly humongous gibostic enormo studio in maine, this first tape is somewhat folky,(although we hate to use the dreaded "f" word) but hopefully, in a good way.........THE tape that started it all!!!!!!!!!......we rented a 48 track studio to record, what in essence, was two acoustic guitars and two vocals(the first of many not so bright financial moves by members of the group)........most of these songs deal with the kinds of things you see when you take a greyhound bus from boston to california(approximately 84 hours, it doesn't count if you get off and sleep over somewhere.....)........includes the groups' first "hit" in "ping pong kids" and some good old fashioned political anger in "pledge of allegiance".........a collector's item, and a true must for the real nobody fanatic...here's what the critics have to say:

"Jello Biafra meets the BluegrassBoys of Bill Monroe.."- Don Daerdo

"you guys sound great together, and you could take the cheer out of a cheerleading squad"!"- Mary Stevenson, Pound Magazine

"i hate to make the Woody Guthrie comment, but in some ways it does fit, only without the romance......." Guy Clarke, bus driver

"that's not really fingerpicking"- anonymous professional folk musician

"here's the line in my song that's going to get me laid. you guys probably won't get laid, but at least you'll be able to sing your songs in ten years. i won't be able to grow old with mine ." - Famous FOLK Performer (We'll leave him anonymous, but he's different from the one above, although still in the Boston area.......)
