since 1988-ish, i have been in a band called NOBODY. a lot of information exists here about this group, and it's music, which you can explore if you wish.......at this time, however, the group NOBODY has faded, like a lonely sunset, gently into the quiet night, so slowly that nobody even noticed it, and all that remains, is me, and my dobro.

i will do my best to continue to play nobody music, as i have always done. the group will remain as recording project/studio only band, but from now on, i will play out as a solo person.... unless announced, all shows will be solo dobro guitar, played lap style and voice played throat style. from this day forward, i will call me by my true name..............

what is the difference between a NOBODY tape and a lloyd thayer tape? in essence, the stuff i'm putting out under my own name(for example "BIGHEART" ) is more 'solo' bioriented, meaning it's basically what you hear me doing live, with just a dobro, vocals, and some harmonica. if i have songs i've written that feel like they need 'more' than that, meaning more instruments, or more 'layers' , i will record them under the name NOBODY. it is still my work, just in a different form. i like to think of it as two heads of the same dragon.
